The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly assess the probability of each outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, with prediction markets sometimes offering more favorable odds, particularly when there's significant disagreement among traders. It's common to see this market diverge from sportsbook expectations based on collective intelligence and information available to participants. Examining both can provide a more well-rounded view of potential outcomes.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where participants buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are constantly updated based on the latest information and sentiment. The market's efficiency relies on informed traders and active participation.
This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Hammarby IF versus IK Sirius match will determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by the governing sporting body, ensuring a transparent and verifiable process. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will be entitled to a payout based on the market's pricing at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. News regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Hammarby IF or IK Sirius would likely cause shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could all impact trader sentiment. Major upsets in other related matches might also indirectly influence perceptions of team strength. Any significant information that alters the perceived probability of different exact scores has the potential to move this market considerably before Oct 29, 2026.
