In the upcoming Bundesliga game between Hamburger SV and VfB Stuttgart, scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 9:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Hamburger SV vs. VfB Stuttgart match originally scheduled for October 17, 2026 at 9:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially closer to the event. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incentivizing participants to make well-informed predictions. While sportsbooks may adjust lines based on betting action and house biases, this market reflects the collective belief of those willing to put their money behind their forecasts. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer value, particularly if they differ significantly from the prediction market prices.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous process where traders buy and sell contracts representing different possible exact scores. The price of each contract reflects the market’s probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy into a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses a market-making algorithm to ensure there’s always a bid and ask price available, facilitating trading and price discovery. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust probabilities accordingly.
This market resolves around Oct 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final, official result of the Hamburger SV vs. Stuttgart match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will be used to determine the winning contract. Any extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered. The platform will verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy and transparency.
Several factors could influence the movement of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Hamburger SV or Stuttgart would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also shift probabilities. Unexpected news events, such as a major controversy involving a player or the club, could also cause fluctuations in the market. Monitoring these signals can help you identify potential trading opportunities.
