All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs about the outcome. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. Examining these differences can be insightful, though it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, not guarantees, of the final result.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share directly reflects the implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective assessment of the event’s likelihood. The current top outcome is unavailable, with a chance percentage of unavailable and a volume of unavailable.
