Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while Polymarket allows traders to directly assess the probability of an outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, with this market potentially offering more favorable odds depending on how the crowd evaluates the players' chances. It's useful to compare the implied probabilities from both sources to identify potential value, but remember that prediction markets reflect the collective wisdom of traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome happening. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more shares purchased for a specific outcome, the higher its price rises, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the latest information and collective intelligence of the traders participating.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be determined by which player wins the match, and the market will settle to 100% for the winning player’s outcome. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand when the market is settled.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Nov 2, 2026. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or updated rankings could shift trader sentiment.
