On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price indicates the market's collective assessment of the likelihood of Bayldon/Fancutt or Hsu/Ilagan winning the Guangzhou doubles match. This dynamic pricing allows for real-time adjustments based on new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Guangzhou 2 (Doubles) match between Bayldon/Fancutt and Hsu/Ilagan. The winning team, as declared by the official tournament organizers, will determine the outcome of this market. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result and their positions in the market.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team composition, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could shift trader sentiment. Updates on weather conditions at the tournament venue, or even analysis of the teams’ recent form and head-to-head records, could also play a role. Significant betting activity—a large influx of volume on one outcome—would also likely cause a noticeable price movement in this market. Monitoring these signals can help you understand potential shifts in the predicted outcome.
