Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when public perception clashes with expert analysis. Examining these differences can reveal insights into market sentiment and potential value opportunities.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders set the odds by buying and selling contracts. The price of a contract represents the probability of that outcome occurring. As more people buy contracts for a particular team, the price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth and order flow directly influence the price, creating a dynamic and responsive pricing mechanism. This allows for a real-time assessment of the perceived likelihood of each team winning.
This market resolves around Oct 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the regulation time moneyline for the Groningen vs Emmen match. The team that wins the match during regulation time will be declared the winning outcome for this market. Any goals scored during extra time or a penalty shootout will not be considered for resolution.
