Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the outcome. If a significant number of people believe a particular exact score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when there’s strong public sentiment or new information influencing perceptions of the match’s potential results.
