On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price converges towards what the market collectively believes is the true probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is determined solely by supply and demand; if more people believe Gribcov Dmitri will win, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing allows for a real-time assessment of expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Gribcov Dmitri vs. Spivacov Oleg fight, as declared by the relevant governing body. The platform will verify the result against established sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event result. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before the fight takes place. Any news regarding injuries to either fighter would likely cause a shift in the odds. Updates on their training camps, changes in weight class, or even pre-fight press conference statements could also move the market. Unexpected betting patterns or large volume trades on Polymarket could also signal changing sentiment. Finally, any official announcements from the fight organizers regarding rules or conditions could impact trader behavior and therefore the price of shares in this market.
