The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, and may be influenced by public betting patterns. This market, however, is driven by individuals directly forecasting the outcome, potentially leading to odds that more accurately reflect the true probabilities as perceived by informed participants. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, analytical approaches, and risk tolerance among bettors and market traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders believe a particular score is likely, the price of its corresponding shares will increase, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price reflects the collective wisdom of the crowd, constantly adjusting as new information and opinions emerge. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to evolving expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official exact score of the Grenoble Foot 38 versus US Boulogne Côte d'Opale match will be used to determine the winning share(s). Resolution will occur after the completion of the match and the official result is publicly available. Traders holding shares in the correct exact score will be entitled to a payout based on the market’s pricing at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or shifts in player form could significantly impact expectations. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match analysis from reputable sports commentators, might also cause traders to reassess their probabilities. Furthermore, large volume trades from influential participants could create momentum and drive price movements in either direction, reflecting a change in overall market sentiment.
