In the upcoming UEFA Nations League game between Greece and Germany, scheduled for October 4, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Greece vs. Germany match originally scheduled for October 4, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than initial sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their books and incorporate a profit margin, while this market aggregates the diverse perspectives of many individual traders. However, it's important to remember that both types of odds represent probabilities based on different methodologies. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of each market. Comparing the two can offer valuable insights, but neither is guaranteed to be perfectly predictive.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of traders about the likelihood of that score occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people bet on a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the odds closely track the evolving expectations of the market participants. Currently, volume is low, indicating uncertainty surrounding the outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Greece vs. Germany match will determine the winning contract. The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by the governing football association, ensuring a transparent and objective determination of the outcome. Traders will be able to see the resolved outcome reflected in the market history on Predict.
Several factors could significantly move this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Greece or Germany would likely impact the odds. Major tactical announcements from either team’s coach could also shift expectations. Furthermore, shifts in public sentiment, perhaps driven by pre-match analysis or pundit predictions, could influence trading activity. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, though likely a smaller one. As Oct 4, 2026 approaches, any new information will be quickly incorporated into the market price.
