In the upcoming UEFA Women's World Cup Qualification game between Greece and England, scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Greece vs. England match originally scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 12:30 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on their own models and may incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. If there's a significant discrepancy, it may indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the event, or that new information hasn't fully been factored into sportsbook lines. It's common to see convergence over time as more information becomes available and both markets adjust.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the latest information and sentiment. The market is entirely driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, the price of shares representing that score will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new developments.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final, official result of the Greece vs. England match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will determine the winning shares. The resolution process relies on publicly available data to ensure an objective and transparent outcome. Any potential overtime or penalty shootouts will not be considered; only the score at the end of regulation time matters for this market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the resolution is finalized.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Greece or England would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather forecasts for the match day could also impact trading activity. Unexpected news related to the overall tournament or other relevant football events might also play a role. As the match approaches, any information that alters perceptions of each team’s chances of scoring will likely move the market.
