Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance their risk, incorporating a margin for profit, whereas this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a particular score is more probable than implied by sportsbook odds, the price in this market will adjust accordingly. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, analytical approaches, or simply varying levels of confidence in a specific result.
