PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Kalshi defines 'Yes' as either team winning, while Polymarket requires a definitive win condition determined by sources.Hero tip: Kalshi's market is essentially betting on the game happening and having a winner. Polymarket is a standard win/loss bet. Be aware of this difference when assessing probabilities.

Critical divergence points:

  • Polymarket: Resolves based on a definitive win determined by sources, or 50-50 if canceled/abandoned. "If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand."
  • Kalshi: Resolves to 'Yes' if either McNeese or Grambling State wins. "If McNeese wins...then the market resolves to Yes. If Grambling St. wins...then the market resolves to Yes."
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

In the upcoming CWBB game between Grambling State Tigers and McNeese State Cowboys, originally scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 7:30 PM ET (as of creation of the first market related to the event): If this market's outcome was definitively determined under its rules by the listed resolution sources before abandonment, that outcome will stand. Otherwise, the following no-result provisions apply. If the game is canceled, does not start by Saturday, November 7, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or is abandoned with no official result by that time, this market will resolve 50-50.

Kalshi

Markets resolve to Yes if the specified team wins the game. If the game is postponed but begins within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, the market will remain open and resolve based on the official final result. If the game is cancelled or not started within 48 hours of its originally scheduled start, both markets will resolve to a fair price.
