Description

This market focuses on predicting which team will score more points in a specific quarter of an upcoming basketball game between two professional teams. The outcome depends solely on the performance during that quarter, not the overall game result. It reflects how analysts and fans assess real-time team strength and strategy in a confined timeframe.

Kalshi

The market resolves based on which team scores the most points in the second quarter of the designated Golden State vs Los Angeles L basketball game scheduled for October 21, 2026. If Golden State scores more points in that quarter, the 'Golden State' market resolves to Yes, and the 'Los Angeles L' and 'Tie' markets resolve to No. Conversely, if Los Angeles L scores more points, their market resolves to Yes, and the other two resolve to No. If both teams score exactly the same number of points, the 'Tie' market resolves to Yes, and the team-specific markets resolve to No. Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of the original start time, all markets remain open and resolve according to the actual second-quarter result. If the game is cancelled or fails to start within that 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants.
