All contracts are designated as protected: if a player enters the game during the first half but does not re-enter after halftime (including overtime), the contract resolves to the fair price prior to the opening tip unless the player meets the rebound threshold, in which case it settles based on actual statistics. If the player enters after halftime, the contract settles based on actual statistics regardless of first-half participation. No protection is afforded for injuries, injury designations, or being ruled out.
