On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact score outcomes. The price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to create a dynamic and efficient forecast. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price discovery process is driven by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will bid up the price of shares representing that outcome, and vice-versa. This creates a real-time assessment of the event’s potential results.
