Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially when accounting for the influence of biases and limitations in sportsbook modeling. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting percentages and promotional offers, which can skew the lines. This market, however, is driven by individuals directly incentivized to predict the correct outcome. Discrepancies between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds can present opportunities for arbitrage, though transaction fees and limitations should be considered.
