This prediction market asks for the winner of the second half of a Serie A soccer match between Genoa CFC and Venezia FC, or if the second half will end in a draw. Resolution depends on which team scores more goals in the second half, including stoppage time.
In the upcoming Serie A game between Genoa CFC and Venezia FC, scheduled for October 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Genoa CFC" if Genoa CFC score more goals than Venezia FC in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Draw" if Genoa CFC and Venezia FC score the same number of goals in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Venezia FC" if Venezia FC score more goals than Genoa CFC in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Draw". This market refers only to the outcome within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect a 'wisdom of the crowd' that can differ from traditional sportsbook lines. Sportsbooks set odds based on models and internal risk assessments, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when there's significant public information or debate surrounding the event. Often, prediction markets are more accurate than sportsbook odds, particularly when accounting for implied probabilities, as they incentivize participants to express their true beliefs. The current volume of $0 suggests active trading and a dynamic price discovery process.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Predict can diverge due to several factors. Each platform has a different user base, trading incentives, and liquidity. Polymarket might attract more sophisticated traders, while Predict could have a broader range of participants. Additionally, the specific market design and fees on each platform can influence pricing. Differences in the timing of information updates and the volume of trading can also contribute to price discrepancies. These factors combine to create distinct market dynamics, even though both platforms are tracking the same underlying event – the Genoa vs. Venezia second half.
