Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the nature of how they are determined. Sportsbooks set odds based on their internal models and aim to profit from imbalances in betting, while prediction markets reflect the aggregated beliefs of a diverse group of traders. This can lead to prediction markets being more accurate, particularly when there is significant information asymmetry. However, sportsbooks may offer different types of bets and promotional offers not available in this market. It's important to compare both to make informed decisions.
