In the upcoming Serie A game between Genoa CFC and AC Milan, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Genoa CFC vs. AC Milan match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Serie A (https://www.legaseriea.it/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market’s prices are driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. Bookmakers may also incorporate a profit margin into their odds, which isn't present in a purely probabilistic market like this one. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges and the event draws closer. Observing these differences can sometimes reveal insights into public perception versus expert analysis.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different possible outcomes. The price of each share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the event’s potential. The market’s current top outcome, Genoa CFC 1 - 1 AC Milan, has a chance percentage of 50.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official, final score of the first half of the Genoa CFC versus AC Milan match. Any changes or adjustments to the score after the official halftime result will not be considered. The result will be determined by the official match data, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the price movement of this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Genoa CFC or AC Milan would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also shift expectations. Even weather conditions on match day could play a role, potentially affecting the style of play and scoring opportunities. Any unexpected developments leading up to kickoff, or even early events within the first few minutes of the match, could cause substantial shifts in the probabilities reflected in this market.
