In the upcoming K-League game between Gangwon FC and Incheon United FC, scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 3:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Gangwon FC vs. Incheon United FC match originally scheduled for October 18, 2026 at 3:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to reflect the true probability of each outcome, though discrepancies can occur due to differing information or risk assessments. It's common to see prediction markets more accurately forecast events, especially when a large volume of traders participate and actively refine the probabilities based on new information. Examining both can provide a more comprehensive view.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined entirely by supply and demand; there are no external factors influencing the odds beyond the actions of traders on the platform. This dynamic pricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and changing perceptions.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Gangwon FC versus Incheon United FC match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score reported by official sources will determine the winning outcome in this market. Any disputes will be settled based on the official match results published by the governing football league. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final, verified score.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Gangwon FC or Incheon United FC would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a recent match, could also influence trader sentiment. Even weather conditions on match day, potentially affecting playing style, could play a role. Finally, any late-breaking news related to team tactics or managerial decisions could lead to adjustments in the probabilities reflected in this market.
