PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict utilize identical resolution logic, relying on the same hierarchy of data sources and defining the second-half winner as the team with the most goals scored.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers.

Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves to the team that scores more goals in the second half of regular play plus stoppage time.
  • A 'Draw' result occurs if both teams score the same number of goals in the second half.
  • First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded from consideration.
  • If the game is postponed, the market remains open until completion; if canceled, it resolves to 'Draw'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours, Flashscore is used, then Sofascore, and finally a consensus of credible reporting. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves to 'Draw' where applicable.
  • Postponement/Cancellation: If the game is postponed, the market remains open until the game is completed. If the game is canceled entirely, the market resolves to 'Draw'.
Timing: The market will resolve once the second half of regular play plus any added stoppage time has concluded and the official result is available, but no later than 24 hours after the event's conclusion. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
