In the upcoming UEFA Champions League game between Galatasaray SK and FC Barcelona, scheduled for October 13, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Galatasaray SK vs. FC Barcelona match originally scheduled for October 13, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, tends to be more efficient and reflects the true probabilities as perceived by participants. However, discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or risk appetites. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than sportsbooks, especially regarding team news or tactical changes.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different exact scores. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting the collective belief of traders regarding the likelihood of that score occurring. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the odds closely align with the perceived probabilities. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust accordingly, creating a constantly evolving assessment of the potential outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Galatasaray vs Barcelona match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the governing football authorities. Any extra time or penalty shootouts will be included as part of the final score to determine the outcome of this market. Traders who correctly predicted the exact score will be entitled to a payout based on the odds at the time of resolution.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Galatasaray or Barcelona would likely cause price shifts. Tactical announcements from either manager, such as confirmed starting lineups or changes in formation, could also impact trading activity. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match comments from influential figures, might also sway the market. Furthermore, any major upsets in other related matches could influence overall sentiment and affect the probabilities associated with this event.
