On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether GAIS or AIK will score first. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting the collective wisdom of the crowd. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, and the implied probability of that outcome rises. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price and reduces the implied probability. This dynamic process creates a real-time assessment of the potential first goalscorer.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on which team scores the first goal in the GAIS vs. AIK match. Official match reports and widely recognized sports news sources will be used to determine the first goalscorer. The platform will verify the result against these sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Any disputes will be handled according to the platform’s established procedures.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either GAIS or AIK would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, such as a recent winning streak or a string of poor performances, could also impact trader sentiment. Weather conditions on match day, and even pre-game analysis from sports commentators, can all contribute to price movements. Any unexpected developments leading up to the match have the potential to move this market.
