Two professional League of Legends teams, G2 HEL and Rising Bees, will compete in a best-of-series match. The outcome depends on which team secures victory in the third and final game of their scheduled encounter on October 20, 2026.
The market resolves to Yes for the respective team if they win the specified game of the LGC Rising 2026 match scheduled for Oct 20, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours, cancelled, or forfeited before play begins, the market resolves to the fair market price. If a map begins and is later forfeited, resolution follows the official result from the governing body. Kalshi disclaims any affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a profit margin. This market allows individuals to express their own informed opinions, potentially leading to odds that diverge from those found at sportsbooks, especially as new information becomes available. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to breaking news or shifts in sentiment than traditional betting venues.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. The price of a contract reflects the market’s current expectation of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust dynamically, providing a real-time assessment of the likelihood of G2 HEL or Rising Bees winning Game 3. The market's depth and volume indicate the level of confidence traders have in their predictions.
This market resolves around Oct 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winning team of Game 3 between G2 HEL and Rising Bees will determine the result. The platform will rely on official results released by the tournament organizers to establish the winner and settle the market. Traders who correctly predicted the winning team will receive a payout based on the final market price at resolution, while those who predicted incorrectly will forfeit their stake.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team strategy, or unexpected performance in previous games could significantly shift trader sentiment. Public announcements about team lineups, coaching decisions, or even weather conditions affecting the game could also lead to price movements. Furthermore, large volume trades from informed participants could indicate a shift in expectations and cause the market to react accordingly. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding how this market evolves.
