This market focuses on predicting whether specific esports teams will achieve a designated number of champion kills in a particular game of a professional League of Legends match. The outcome depends on the performance of each team during the gameplay, with clear conditions for resolution based on official statistics.
The event resolves based on the official champion kill statistics recorded during game 2 of the Worlds 2026 match between G2 Esports and Hanwha Life Esports, scheduled for October 30, 2026, at 7:00 PM EDT. If the match is postponed beyond 48 hours of its scheduled start time, cancelled, or forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to the last fair price. If the game begins and is later forfeited, shortened, or replayed, the resolution is determined by officially published statistics up to the point of interruption, voided play excluded. Any officially voided statistics will not count toward the resolution. The market outcomes are strictly based on the performance metrics recorded by the governing league, with no affiliation to Kalshi.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes, and the price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy a contract, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth shows the volume of contracts available at different price points, giving you an idea of how easily you can enter or exit a position. The current price reflects the aggregated beliefs of all participants trading on Kalshi.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final champion kill totals for both G2 Esports and Hanwha Life Esports in Game 2 will be used to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual result. The resolution will be based on official game statistics, ensuring a transparent and objective determination of the winning contracts. Traders should monitor official sources for the final results to understand the market's settlement.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes for either G2 Esports or Hanwha Life Esports could shift expectations. In-game performance during the series leading up to Game 2 will also be closely watched, as it may provide insights into each team’s current strengths and weaknesses. Unexpected drafts or early game advantages could also cause significant price movements. Major upsets in other professional League of Legends matches could also indirectly affect sentiment and volume.
