Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which are set by professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting patterns and risk management into their pricing, while this market relies on individuals directly expressing their beliefs about the outcome. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when there's significant public interest or disagreement about the likely result of the Fulham vs Ipswich match. These differences can present opportunities for arbitrage or informed betting based on your own analysis.
On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing the outcome of Fulham winning by two or more goals against Ipswich. The price of these contracts fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective probability assigned to the event by market participants. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe Fulham will win by the required margin, the higher the price will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows for real-time adjustments based on new information and changing sentiment.
