Prediction market odds, like those found on Predict and Limitless, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the underlying mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to ensure profit, incorporating a margin, while prediction markets are driven by genuine buyer and seller activity. This can lead to prediction markets being more accurate, especially when there's significant volume. Furthermore, prediction markets benefit from the continuous flow of information and the ability for traders to react quickly to news and events, potentially resulting in more efficient pricing for this market compared to fixed-odds betting.
