On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, effectively creating a real-time probability estimate. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular team will win, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will rise, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the market participants regarding the CPBL championship.
This market resolves around Oct 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results of the CPBL championship series, determining which team ultimately wins the title. The platform will verify the results against trusted sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who correctly predicted the winning team will be entitled to a payout based on the final market prices at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market leading up to the CPBL championship. Key player injuries, unexpected team performance fluctuations, or significant changes in coaching strategies could all shift market sentiment. Major upsets in preliminary games or shifts in public perception based on media coverage could also play a role. Any news that alters the perceived probability of either team winning is likely to cause movement in this market, as traders adjust their positions accordingly.
