Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a margin for profit. This market, driven by individual traders on Predict, may offer a different perspective, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. Discrepancies can arise due to differing risk assessments or the influence of factors not fully captured by sportsbook algorithms. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks in accuracy over time.
