This market tracks the outcome of a professional soccer match in Japan's J1 League between two teams competing on a specific date. The resolution depends solely on which team wins the match within the regular timeframe, or if the match ends in a tie.
The event resolves based on the result of the Frontale vs Fagiano O professional Japan J1 League soccer match originally scheduled for October 25, 2026. If Frontale wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time (excluding extra time or penalties), the 'Frontale' market resolves to Yes. If Fagiano O wins under the same conditions, the 'Fagiano O' market resolves to Yes. If the match ends in a tie after regular time, the 'Tie' market resolves to Yes. If the game is cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price. The resolution exclusively considers the result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, with no regard for extra time, penalty kicks, or subsequent proceedings.
Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of participants, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set their lines based on models and internal analysis, while this market aggregates the views of many individual traders. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. While sportsbooks may initially be more reactive to breaking news, this market can incorporate a wider range of opinions and potentially identify mispricings that sportsbooks haven’t yet accounted for.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book, where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the outcome of the Frontale vs Fagiano O match. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy contracts predicting a specific result, the price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly adjust to new information and changing sentiment. The current market depth shows the available contracts at different price points, indicating the level of interest in each potential outcome.
