Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven by individuals trading based on their own information and beliefs. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions on team performance, injuries, or other factors influencing the game. It’s common to see this market adjust rapidly to new information, potentially leading to odds that diverge from those offered by sportsbooks.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. Late-breaking news regarding key player injuries on either Fresno State or San Diego State would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, such as heavy rain or strong winds, could also impact the game and therefore the market. Unexpected coaching decisions or in-game performance shifts during the first three quarters could also lead to adjustments in the perceived probability of different point spreads, driving trading activity and price fluctuations.
