Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. As more shares are bought for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived likelihood. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. Traders are incentivized to provide accurate predictions, as they profit if their chosen outcome eventuates and lose if it does not. This dynamic process aims to converge the market price towards the true probability of the event.
