Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, biases, or simply the dynamics of each market. It's common to see this market adjust rapidly to new information, whereas sportsbook odds may be slower to change. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd disagrees with professional oddsmakers.
