Description

In the upcoming VCT best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-10-14 21:15 UTC: if MIBR GC wins the series, the market will resolve to "MIBR GC"; if FlyQuest RED wins the series, the market will resolve to "FlyQuest RED". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official VCT broadcast and https://valorantesports.com/; community coverage on vlr.gg may be used as a supplementary source. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is undervaluing a particular outcome, the odds here may move in the opposite direction. It's common to see discrepancies, especially before a lot of money has been traded, as the crowd’s assessment can differ from professional oddsmakers. This can present opportunities for informed traders.

On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing the probability of different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the current market consensus. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its corresponding contract will rise. Conversely, if traders believe an outcome is unlikely, the price will fall. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence of participants.

This market resolves around Oct 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the FlyQuest RED vs MIBR GC match, as reported by the governing body for this competition. Traders will then be paid out based on whether their predictions aligned with the final result. It’s important to monitor news sources leading up to the resolution date to stay informed about any potential factors that could influence the outcome.
