Description

Kalshi

All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams during the 4th quarter (excluding overtime) of the Florida vs Missouri college football game scheduled for Oct 3, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold: if the combined score exceeds that threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. For all markets, only points scored in the 4th quarter count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, all markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.

Frequently asked questions

On Kalshi, the dashboard for the Florida vs Missouri 4th quarter tracks the current price of contracts representing predictions about the total points scored in the fourth quarter of the game. You’ll find a price history chart showing how the market has moved over time, as well as the 24-hour trading volume, which is currently $72,149. The total volume traded on this market is $105,719. This allows you to see how much activity there is and gauge the overall interest in predicting the final quarter's score.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to trade contracts based on their own beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts. It’s common to see this market incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, potentially offering a more accurate reflection of the likely outcome as game day approaches.

On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts. Each contract represents a specific total points range for the 4th quarter. The price of a contract indicates the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price fluctuates based on supply and demand; if more people believe a higher score is likely, contracts representing those higher totals will become more expensive. This dynamic pricing mechanism creates a real-time assessment of the expected 4th quarter total.

This market resolves around Oct 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the 4th quarter is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official game statistics, and the contract corresponding to the correct total points range will pay out. It's important to note that the official game results are the definitive source for determining the market's outcome, ensuring a transparent and verifiable resolution process.

Several factors could influence the price of contracts in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Florida or Missouri would likely have a significant impact, as would changes in weather forecasts that could affect the game's scoring potential. Late-breaking news about team strategies or coaching decisions could also cause shifts in the market. Furthermore, as the game progresses, real-time scoring and momentum swings will undoubtedly drive price fluctuations, especially in the final minutes leading up to resolution.
