These markets resolve based on the point differential achieved by either Florida or Georgia in the second quarter of their college football game scheduled for October 31, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold that must be exceeded for a 'Yes' outcome: Georgia winning by more than 2.5, 3.5, 6.5, 7.5, or 10.5 points, or Florida winning by more than 2.5, 3.5, 6.5, 7.5, or 10.5 points during that quarter. Only points scored in the second quarter count toward these outcomes. Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by individuals trading based on their own information and beliefs. Therefore, you may find discrepancies between the implied probabilities in this market and those offered by sportsbooks, potentially revealing areas where the crowd disagrees with professional oddsmakers or has access to unique information.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing different point spreads. The price of each contract reflects the market's collective assessment of the probability of that spread occurring. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust accordingly. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and provides a real-time estimate of the expected outcome for the Florida vs Georgia second quarter spread.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the final point spread in the second quarter of the Florida vs Georgia game will be used to determine which contracts pay out. The resolution will be based on the official game statistics as reported by a trusted sports data source. Traders holding contracts on the correct spread will receive a payout, while those holding contracts on incorrect spreads will not.
Several signals could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Florida or Georgia teams would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favorable to one team's style of play, could also impact trading activity. Furthermore, any significant shifts in public opinion, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, could also drive price changes in this market as traders adjust their positions based on the latest information.
