Description

These markets track how many goals are scored in the third period of an NHL hockey game between Florida and Buffalo. Each market has a different threshold for the total goals needed for a 'Yes' outcome. The markets only consider goals scored during regulation time of the third period, excluding any overtime play.

Kalshi

All three markets resolve based on the total number of goals scored by both teams combined in the third period of the Florida vs Buffalo NHL game scheduled for October 12, 2026, with each market having a progressively higher threshold (0.5, 1.5, and 2.5 goals respectively) for a 'Yes' outcome. Importantly, these markets only count goals scored during the standard third period regulation time and exclude any goals that might be scored in overtime. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of its original scheduled time, the markets remain active and resolve based on the final official result of that game. However, if the game is cancelled or fails to start within the 48-hour window, all markets resolve to a fair price, meaning they are settled equitably rather than strictly according to the primary rules.
