These markets track how many points Florida State and Miami (FL) score specifically in the fourth quarter of their college football game on October 17, 2026. Each market has a different threshold for the total points scored by both teams in that quarter.
The markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams during the fourth quarter (excluding overtime) of the Florida St. vs Miami (FL) college football game scheduled for October 17, 2026. For each market, if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold—ranging from 2.5 to 27.5 points—the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. All markets consider only points scored in regulation fourth-quarter play. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, the markets resolve to a fair price. Kalshi disclaims any affiliation with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to make accurate predictions. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of supply and demand within the prediction market. It’s common to see this market move independently of sportsbook lines, especially as new information becomes available or as the event draws closer.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the 4th quarter of the Florida St vs Miami (FL) game will determine the winning contracts. The total points scored will be verified against official game statistics and reported by widely recognized sports news sources. Traders holding contracts on the correct total points scored in the 4th quarter will receive a payout based on the contract's price at resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries for either Florida St. or Miami (FL) would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest conditions favorable to high or low scoring, could also move the market. Furthermore, in-game performance during the first three quarters could shift expectations about the 4th quarter total, leading to increased trading activity and price adjustments as the game progresses.
