For each market, if the combined second-half points exceed the specified threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, it remains active and resolves based on the final result. Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook lines due to differing information and incentives. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market allows participants to express their independent beliefs about the likely outcome. Over time, prediction market prices tend to be more accurate forecasts than traditional point spreads, as they aggregate diverse perspectives. However, sportsbook odds can still provide a useful benchmark for comparison, especially before significant volume accumulates in this market.
