This set of markets tracks how many points each team will score in an upcoming college football game. Each market has a different threshold for the number of points a team needs to score for the market to resolve positively.
All markets resolve based on the official final point totals of North Texas and Florida Atlantic in their college football game scheduled for October 29, 2026. For each market, if the specified team scores over the stated point threshold, the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the result still applies. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, all markets resolve to a fair price, meaning they settle at a value reflecting the likely outcome given available information up to that point. Kalshi disclaims any official affiliation with the NCAA, and all team names and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect a collective wisdom, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks establish lines to balance betting action and ensure profit, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the likely outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, biases, or simply the dynamics of how each type of market operates. If significant differences exist between this market and sportsbook lines, it may suggest that traders possess information not yet fully incorporated into the sportsbook's assessment of the Florida Atlantic vs North Texas game.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts. Each contract represents a potential outcome for the team totals in the Florida Atlantic vs North Texas game. The price of a contract reflects the market’s probability of that outcome occurring; a higher price indicates a greater perceived likelihood. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders adjust these prices based on their own analysis and expectations, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event's potential results. This creates a unique pricing mechanism driven by the collective intelligence of the market participants.
This market resolves around Oct 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final team totals from the Florida Atlantic vs North Texas game are verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official statistics released following the completion of the game. The market will determine which side of the total points line is correct, based on the actual points scored by each team.
