Generally, prediction market odds tend to be more accurate than those offered by traditional sportsbooks, especially closer to the event. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and perspectives. While sportsbooks may initially set lines based on statistical models and expert opinions, this market reflects the collective judgment of individuals with skin in the game. However, differences can occur due to varying levels of market participation and differing risk appetites between prediction market traders and sportsbook bettors.
