Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market allows traders to express their beliefs about the outcome directly. Discrepancies can arise from differing levels of expertise among bettors, access to information, or simply differing opinions on the probabilities of each boxer winning. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information than sportsbooks.
