Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by the collective forecasts of many individuals. This can lead to discrepancies, particularly when public opinion diverges from expert analysis. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on team statistics, this market allows for real-time adjustments based on new information and changing sentiment, creating a dynamic comparison. The current volume on this market is $0.
