The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to profit from margins, while prediction markets allow participants to directly express their beliefs. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment diverges from expert opinion. The spread between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds can sometimes indicate perceived value or arbitrage opportunities. Examining both can provide a more well-rounded assessment of the likely outcome.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Price discrepancies between Polymarket and Predict for the Shakhtar vs AEK first-to-score market can arise due to several factors. These platforms have different user bases, trading volumes, and risk appetites, all of which influence price discovery. Polymarket may attract more sophisticated traders or those with specialized knowledge of European football, while Predict might have a broader, more general audience. Furthermore, differing liquidity levels on each platform can lead to price slippage and temporary imbalances. These variations are normal and reflect the independent nature of each prediction market.
Several signals could significantly move this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either FK Shakhtar Donetsk or AEK would likely impact the probabilities. Changes in team form, such as recent match results or tactical adjustments, could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions or stadium changes could also influence the market. Finally, significant shifts in public opinion, driven by media coverage or social media trends, could lead to increased trading volume and price fluctuations in this market.
