Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between prediction market probabilities and sportsbook odds, opportunities for arbitrage may arise, as traders attempt to capitalize on the mispricing. Often, prediction markets are more accurate than traditional forecasts.
