On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective forecast. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand, with increased buying pressure raising the price and increased selling pressure lowering it. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information and expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or shifts in player form could significantly impact predictions. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role. Furthermore, in-game events during the first half of the match, such as red cards or early goals, are likely to cause substantial price movements as traders react to the evolving situation. Public sentiment and large trades on Polymarket could also contribute to price fluctuations.
