Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a more accurate forecast than traditional sportsbook odds, as they aggregate the wisdom of the crowd. However, sportsbooks and this market may initially show differences due to varying factors like differing public perceptions and initial market biases. Sportsbooks also incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim for a more direct representation of probability. It’s common to see the odds on Polymarket converge with sportsbook odds as more information becomes available and the event draws nearer.
