If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often incorporating information and analysis not immediately captured by traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on team statistics and expert opinions, this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, potentially leading to odds that diverge from those offered by bookmakers. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information access, biases, or simply a broader range of perspectives represented within the prediction market. It’s common to see this market adjust rapidly to news and insights.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth – the number of shares available at different price points – indicates the level of confidence traders have in each outcome. Higher volume at a specific price suggests stronger agreement among participants.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result will be determined by the official score reported by the governing football league following the completion of the match between Bodø/Glimt and Vålerenga Fotball. Any potential postponements or cancellations will be factored into the resolution process, ensuring a fair and accurate outcome. Traders should monitor official sources for updates regarding the match schedule and final score.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Bodø/Glimt or Vålerenga Fotball would likely cause shifts in the probabilities. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to heavily impact the playing field, could also be a catalyst. Furthermore, tactical announcements from either team’s manager, or even unexpected lineup changes revealed shortly before the match, could lead to adjustments in trading activity. Public sentiment and analysis from football experts could also play a role.
