Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks incorporate factors like public betting patterns and house biases, this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, analytical approaches, or simply varying levels of expertise among participants. It's common to see prediction markets offer odds that diverge from sportsbook lines, especially when there's a strong conviction among traders that the sportsbook is mispricing the event.
